What is CIPP?

CIPP Before & After

Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) is a trenchless (or no-dig) pipeline rehabilitation process involving a textile liner tube and liquid resin combination. The process begins by saturating the liner with the liquid resin (referred to as the wet-out process). LMK’s wet-out process involves vacuum impregnation of the liner inside of a bladder membrane, which allows for a safe and clean resin saturation process.

Once this is accomplished, the liner is inserted into the host pipe and cures to a hard state, forming a new, seamless pipe within a pipe. LMK’s installation method utilizes air pressure to invert the liner through the pipe, pressing the liner up against the pipe wall to take on the formation of the pipe. Liners can be custom made to accommodate any pipe configuration, including multiple bends and transitions in diameter. CIPP can be used in all types of piping and is an excellent, cost-effective solution compared to traditional excavation methods.
