Larry Kiest, Jr. is an innovator, entrepreneur, writer, and speaker who has shaped the global conversation about the best ways of using the trenchless technology of CIPP to rehabilitate underground infrastructure. As Founder and President of LMK Technologies, Larry has developed multiple trenchless systems that have resulted in over 90 patents issued throughout North America, Europe and Australia. He has also authored numerous technical papers published in the ASCE Pipelines Journal, UCT Conference Proceedings, NASTT No-Dig Proceedings, as well as ISTT No-Dig Proceedings and is responsible for the issuance of two ASTM standards.
Most recently, Larry was recognized as the Trenchless Person of the Year at the 2013 No-Dig Show conducted by the North American Society of Trenchless Technology (NASTT). He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM), the Water Environment Federation (WEF), and the American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT), the International Society for Trenchless Technology (ISTT), American Water Works Association (AWWA), National Association of Clean Water Agencies (NACWA) and is an Advisory Board Member of the Louisiana Tech Trenchless Technology Center (TTC).
Larry is a currently on the Board of Director of NASTT and is also the Vice President of Midwest Society of Trenchless Technology (MSTT). He has also served as Board Member and Chairman of the Lateral Committee of National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) 2008-2011, Chairman of NASSCO Lateral Committee, and as Chair and Co-chair Rehab Zone (UCT) 2009-2010.
